Dr. Mindy Mar

Dr. Mar is a Board-Certified Animal Chiropractor via the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association as well as certified chiropractic sports physicians® and a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians®, the highest level of academic achievement for a sports chiropractor. She is currently enrolled in her 5th postdoctoral program to become a certified canine rehabilitation practitioner specializing in physical rehab, therapeutic exercises and physiotherapy.

Prior to starting at Coronado Veterinary Hospital as an animal chiropractor, Dr. Mar spent over 25 years working with a variety of professional team & athletes in the NFL, USOPC, Team USA, Bobsled & Skeleton, US Paracyling, PGA, MLB, NHL, WTT, Team Canada Cycling, USA Cricket, London Games 2012, World Games 2017, World Sports Games 2019, America’s Cup 2010, ASU and numerous World Cup & regional/world cup qualifiers all around the world. Dr. Mar utilizes a science and literature-based approach with chiropractic care that treats the body through biomechanical functional assessment, orthopedic and neurological exams, gait analysis, chiropractic care, soft tissue mobilization techniques and exercise rehabilitation.

Dr. Mar is passionate about animal welfare and pet loss grief support. During free time she enjoys watching sports, working out, sushi & sake, traveling the world and relaxing at home with her cats.
