If you find a pet you would like to adopt, we’ll sit down for an informal consultation to make sure that you and the pet you’ve selected are a good match. We’ll also review the pet’s medical records, and answer any questions you may have.
Submit a Pet Adoption Application
The next step is to submit an adoption application, which you can fill out below.
Application Approval
If your home seems like the right fit for the pet, Coronado Veterinary Hospital will contact you for an interview. This interview may be in person or via phone call.
Next, if you are approved for adoption, we will need to have you sign an adoption agreement.
Free Wellness Exam for Adoption and Rescues
We provide a FREE wellness examination for any pet that has been adopted or rescued. Coronado Veterinary Hospital celebrates and supports pet adoptions and to prove it, your new pet's first exam is free!
