Dr. Elizabeth Stone

Dr. Stone was born in Pasadena, California and raised in Los Angeles County. She attended and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from California State University, Fullerton. Dr. Stone worked as a sales representative to the defense industry before embarking on a veterinary career. Attending the Registered Veterinary Technician Program at Mesa College, Dr. Stone graduated among the top in her class and began her veterinary voyage working at a small animal/avian/exotic practice. Her desire to improve the lives of animals in her care led her to further her education in veterinary medicine. Dr. Stone graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Veterinary Medicine in 2003 and received Mizzou’s Needles Brooker Scholarship for exemplifying the importance of the human animal bond. Returning to San Diego, Dr. Stone practiced veterinary medicine in East County at a small animal/exotic practice before becoming a partner at Coronado Veterinary Hospital in April of 2007. In July of 2012, Dr. Stone became the full owner of the practice. She is committed to providing progressive, quality healthcare and preventative medicine to her patients. Dr. Stone’s special interests include surgery, dermatology and wound healing.
